Carrión de los Condes

Carrión de los Condes is almost the half way mark for pilgrims walking from Roncesvalles to Santiago.

The statue proudly advertise this place as a pilgrim's town.

I like this town. Many restaurants, a big supermarket and in general a very relaxing atmosphere.

Outside the peregrino museum.

This is the place to recharge. I didn't know it then, but I was about to walk an average of 35 km for the next 2 days after Carrión through the Mesatas before finally arriving in León.
